Well I passed the first lot of testing, yay! Thanks heaps to our amazing coach C.C, who has been so supportive and a pleasure to work with.
So now it's on to pack work, hits and a whole lot of trying to get my laps.
The league has gotten a lot of eager newbies, and they are doing awesome!
We've got a big training session coming up this weekend with a "celebrity" coach, and DAMN I'm excited!
I almost forgot! We have the most KICK-ASS logo! and here it is......

Our league is chugging along nicely. We have had a great in-flux of eager 'freshies' join on our crazy escapade.
Our league philosophy is to be all inclusive, welcoming and just to have a whole heap of fun!
I can't believe how much I love our trainings. I always go home on a buzz....the way it should be. I am thinking of learning to referee, as a way to help our league, myself and the sport.

hmmmm, let's see......ROLLER DERBY!!! Yep, it is happening. We have started our own local roller derby league. Very exciting, and very terrifying at the same time!
We are Peowhairangi Roller Derby League, located in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
